Muse & Co serves five main drink categories plus a selection of miscellaneous beverages. Every team member should be familiar with each category, know the price ranges, and be able to recommend drinks based on what a customer is looking for.

Boba / Milk Tea ($5.99 - $7.50)
Our most popular category. These are creamy tea-based drinks that come with free tapioca boba by default. Customers can swap or add other toppings for $0.50 - $1.00 each.

All our drinks are crafted with 7-stage reverse osmosis filtered water for the cleanest, purest taste.
Fruit Tea ($6.50)
All fruit teas are $6.50. These are lighter, refreshing, and dairy-free. Great for customers who want something fruity without the creaminess of milk tea. All are served iced.

Lychee Long Island
Customers sometimes ask if this contains alcohol. It does not. The name is a playful nod to a Long Island Iced Tea. Let them know it is a non-alcoholic lychee fruit tea.
Coffee ($2.00 - $6.50)
Straightforward espresso-based drinks. These use our house espresso and are prepared with standard coffee shop methods.

Military Latte
This is our strongest coffee drink -- 4 shots of espresso blended with matcha and mocha for a camo-inspired layered look. Popular with the military community from Fort Liberty. Always mention it to customers who want serious caffeine.
Special Brewed Tea ($5.50 - $7.50)
These are whole-leaf premium teas brewed at the table in glass teapots. They are a completely different experience from our iced drinks. Each serving is good for 3-5 steeps.

Presentation Matters
Special brewed teas are served in glass teapots specifically so the customer can see the leaves unfurl. Always use a clean glass teapot. Never serve these in a paper cup. If we are out of clean glass teapots, let the customer know there will be a short wait while one is washed.

Upselling Toppings
When a customer orders a drink, suggest a topping that pairs well. For example: "Would you like to add a sea salt cream cap to your Brown Sugar milk tea? It is really good together." Customers appreciate the recommendation and it increases the ticket.
Add-Ons and Upgrades
Taro Swirl
Any drink can be upgraded with a taro swirl -- a thick taro concentrate spread on the inside walls of the cup that creates beautiful purple streaks visible through the drink. It adds hints of taro flavor with every sip. See How to Make the Taro Swirl for the technique.
This is different from ordering a Taro Milk Tea ($7.50), which is a fully blended taro drink. The swirl is a visual and flavor upgrade that works with any drink on the menu.
